Pax Autocratica Roadmap

The Pax Autocratica roadmap is a list of Early Access priorities, not a dated release calendar. The Steam FAQ still estimates roughly two years in Early Access, while also warning that timing can change with development and player feedback.

The useful change since this wiki's previous review is that several items once described as planned have now shipped. This page is current through Steam public Build 24995054, released on August 28, 2026.

The colony settings panel is therefore no longer a teaser. Trading Post selling and the hide-HUD option also moved from AG-25's “what's next” section into AG-27 two days later. See the updates page for a concise build-by-build summary.

What is still undated

The official store and development posts still do not give release dates for the larger Early Access goals:

  • Online co-op
  • Broader capture and prisoner-conversion improvements
  • More expedition variety and less repetition
  • Further soldier AI and combat-control work
  • Mod support
  • Larger vehicle improvements
  • The next stages of DX12 preloading work

Treat these as priorities, not promises for a particular month. AG-25 said vehicle improvements and more DX12 testing were being worked on, but AG-27 and the August 28 maintenance note did not announce them as released. This wiki will not turn “planned” into “shipped” without a later official note.

How to read the roadmap

Use three labels:

  1. Shipped — an official patch note names the feature in a public build.
  2. In progress or planned — the studio says it is working on the item, but there is no release build.
  3. Unscheduled — the feature appears in Early Access plans, with no public date.

This avoids a common Early Access mistake: leaving old teaser language on a page after the feature ships, or assigning dates the developer never published.
